Corner Stone Design Group is a family owned and operated business. We have been creating house plans for customers since 1991. We are a trusted partner with local builders in the area, and work with many of them.
Our team will work closely with you to get your house designed in a timely manner!
The Design Process
STEP 1: SCHEDULE AN INITIAL MEETING
You will meet with one of our designers. Bring any plans or drawings of the type of design that you want, or look through our books of pre-made plans to get ideas. The first meeting can take between 30m - 1hr, depending on how much you bring in planned for ideas.
STEP 2: PRELIMINARY PLANS
A designer will work on a set of initial plans based on what was discussed in the first meeting.
STEP 3: SECOND MEETING
We will meet with you to go over your plans that were created. This meeting is the time for you to go over any details that you would like changed on the plans that you would like modified.
STEP 4: DESIGN REVISIONS
The designer will work on any modifications that you have noted for the plans. They will also prepare the plans and add any details and notes needed for approval by engineering and that builders may need.
STEP 5: FINAL REVIEW
Once any changes have been made, we will make sure that you are happy with your design. This is the step to make sure everything looks good, and that any changes were made.
STEP 6: ENGINEERING APPROVAL
An engineer will review the plans and make sure that they meet building requirements. Once approved the engineer will sign and seal the plans. Congratulations, your plans are now complete! We can then pass your final plans onto you digitally and/or as printed sets.
